OUR
MISSION:
At Boiling Spring
Military Ministry, our privilege and
responsibility is to provide Faith in
the Foxhole and Hope on the Home Front,
frequently assisting military chaplains and
commanders with caring for the spiritual
well-being of troops and their families. We do
this in many ways, but all focus on the Gospel
of Jesus Christ because "it is the power of
salvation for all who believe."
We seek to help
every troop, every leader, every family member
hear and receive the life saving message about
Jesus. Identifying with Paul as he writes in
the book of Romans, our "heart's desire and
earnest prayer to God is that they (military
men, women, and families) might be saved."
Only in this way will they be truly ready,
spiritually ready, to face the challenges
which will certainly come their way. We do
this in the following ways:

FAMILY MINISTRIES
There may have never been a time or a place
where marriages and families have been under
so much pressure as they are in today's
military. Yet God has provided a way for
families to thrive under the toughest of
circumstances. Not just to survive, but to
be filled with life and joy and with a great
heritage. Our Family Ministries are
committed to helping military couples
understand God's blueprint for marriage.
It's also a unique challenge to have a
member of the military in your family,
whether that person is your husband, wife,
child, grandchild, or parent. We have a home
for you here, too!
DEPLOYMENT ISSUES
|
Dealing with Deployment
Deployments increased greatly
for the war in Iraq. Even though
the main battles are over, not
everyone is coming home right
away. Many remain there or in
other deployed locations around
the world, and still others will
go .
You may be one of those sent away
to serve your country. What is on
your heart? Come by and setup an
appointment with Pastor Walker for
more information.
Meanwhile, family
members wait at home,
praying. As a family member, you
are likely to be looking for the
same things, for encouragement, or
for practical resources to help
you through this challenging time,
when your loved one is away for
the duration.

Military Couples with God's Plan
for Marriage and Family
There may have never been a
time or a place where marriages
and families have been under so
much pressure as they are in
today's military. Yet God has
provided a way for families to
thrive under the toughest of
circumstances. Not just to
survive, in fact, but to be filled
with life and joy and with a great
heritage. Our Family Ministries
are committed to helping military
couples understand God's blueprint
for marriage. We provide help and
resources for couples so they may
live the life God intended them
to. These
conferences and seminars are
designed to make a good marriage
better, or give a struggling
marriage hope.

Whenever
I pray for you all, my prayers
are always joyful, because of the
part
you have taken in the work of the
gospel.
