Reverend
Mark Anthony Walker was born February 22,
1959 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the
son of Mrs. Forrestine Jefferson and the
late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie and Bernice Walker.
He is a graduate of Ridgeway High School in
Memphis. He also attended Western
Kentucky University where he received a
degree in Early Childhood Development. For
his spiritual education he attended the
Hopkinsville College of the Bible.
At the early age of seven, Rev. Walker
professed his faith and was baptized at the
Boston Street Baptist Church under the late
Rev. Oris Mays. After serving in the
U.S. Army for eight years, he surrendered to
the call of the ministry on October 15,
1985. He was then licensed to preach
on November 3, 1985 and ordained in the
ministry September 19, 1988. and is
Vice Moderator for the CRSKMTBDA.
Rev. Walker
is married to the former Wanda L.
Sutton-Rhodes.
He is truly a multi-talented
man of God. His spiritual objective is
“To preach the word of God, educating and
edifying Saints in the body of Christ.
